Shakespeare Napa Valley
Shakespeare Napa Valley was founded in 2009, at Napa Valley College under the leadership of Jennifer King. The inaugural production, Twelfth Night, quickly set a new standard for professional theater in a college setting.
In 2010, Shakespeare Napa Valley partnered with the City of Napa to bring our production of The Taming of the Shrew to Veteran’s Memorial Park, in downtown Napa, for two weekends in August, where it experienced extraordinary audience attendance.
Shakespeare Napa Valley returned to Veteran’s Park in 2011. The featured productions were Much Ado About Nothing and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).
This summer, Shakespeare NV will present Twelfth Night July 20 through 29 with performances Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 7 P.M.
